Alejandro Consagra aus Buenos Aires

Alejandro Consagra übermittelte uns den folgenden Brief mit zwei Fotos die u.a. den Berliner Busch Bau sowie einige Busch-Roland Souvenirs zeigen. Für diejenigen, die mit Alejandro Consagra Kontakt aufnehmen möchten, haben wir am Ende der Seite sowohl E-Mail als auch Postanschrift veröffentlicht.

My enthusiasm for circuses started when I was four or five years old. But it suddenly became a strong passion which still remains unchanged. I started collecting tickets, posters and newspaper articles. As I grew older while attending the elementary scool, I began making models of the circuses I liked most. Although they were not perfect scale-reproductions I could easily imagine and enjoy performances in those big tops, “My “ big tops. Later, I managed to add more details to. My own miniature circuses, such as seats, stage, lights and the big wheel. These additional things gave the tents a more realistic touch.

That there was something missing if I wanted my circuses look like the real ones: they had to be dismountable…. This meant more effort, more patience and more time if I wanted to achieve such further step. Fortunately, after several years, I reached that objective.

Nowadays I have twelve models as well as material of different kind (posters, toys, photographs, videos, pins, etc……..).

In the last five years my models have been shown to the public, in different places such as museums and showrooms. This is a good way to show my passion for circuses.

I keep my collection as if it were a treasure to which I periodically add new components, for example, circus busch-roland items: ( model, pins, posters, etc..) thanks to Mr. Christian Orlowski for helping me to obtain material related to this successful circus.
